My Ph.D in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering emphasized thermodynamics, heat engines, heat exchanger design, and mechanical design. I have always enjoyed dabbling in thermodynamic cycles and have devised several power cycles. I have also written Fortran systems codes for some of these cycles and for the design of nuclear fusion reactor systems. I have over 30 years professional experience in power systems, nuclear fusion reactors, and superconducting particle accelerators.
