SUMMARY

No other engine, now in use or under development, can simultaneously lay claim to all of the following attributes:

          • High power levels with high efficiency

          • High efficiency under typical driving loads

          • Negligible NOx, Hydrocarbon, or soot emissions

          • Wide multifuel capability

          • Inherently quiet operation

          • Quick starting and rapid response

          • Lightweight and compact

          • Temperatures low enough so that exotic alloys are not needed

While a lot of work needs to be done, so much has been done already that there is great incentive to develop a detailed design and build a prototype. This engine borrows from over a century's worth of technology. It could revolutionize all forms of surface transportation and make our environment cleaner and safer. Even after a ten year hiatus, my engine still looks very good, and I think it would be irresponsible for me not to keep trying to develop it. I believe it could be a pollution-free, efficient replacement for both gasoline and diesel engines.
